Privacy policy

Bead With Love is a one-person business. We collect the minimum information needed to send you the things you ordered and keep our books straight. This page tells you what we collect, why, and who else sees it.

What we collect

• Order details: name, email, shipping address, items ordered, order total.
• Payment: handled entirely by Stripe — your full card number never touches our servers.
• Site analytics: we measure traffic and sales with Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 — so we can see which pages and referral sources actually lead to orders. We do not collect this for advertising.
• Email correspondence you initiate with us.

What we don't collect

• No advertising trackers and no Facebook pixel. We use Google Analytics for our own traffic and sales reporting, but we run no ads — Google Analytics' advertising features (ad personalization and ad-data sharing) are switched off.
• No customer accounts — we use guest checkout only, so no passwords.
• We don't sell or share customer data, ever.

Service providers

To run the shop we rely on a small number of vendors who each see a slice of your data:

• Stripe — payment processing and Stripe Tax.
• Resend — transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notices).
• Cloudflare — site hosting, image delivery, DNS, and privacy-friendly web analytics.
• Google Analytics — traffic and sales measurement (Google Analytics 4).
• USPS — package delivery and tracking.

How long we keep things

Order records are kept for 7 years for tax/recordkeeping. Email correspondence is kept until we consciously archive it. You can request deletion of anything we hold by emailing hello@beadwithlove.com.

Cookies

We use a piece of local browser storage to remember what's in your cart. Google Analytics also sets a small number of first-party cookies (and reads a similar bit of local storage) to count visits and tie a purchase back to the page or link that brought you here. These are used only for our own aggregate reporting — never for advertising or cross-site profiling. You can block them with your browser settings or a privacy extension and the shop will work exactly the same.

Children

Our products aren't designed for children under 12, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
